Rejections feared
That have come true
My heart’s been seared
Romantic coup
All hopes and dreams
They fade away
Unraveled seams
Begin to fray
Eyes wide open
Still not seeing
Always hopin’
And believing
I will collapse
I fall apart
There’s left no chance
For lonely hearts
When waves crash down
A sight to see
You weren’t around
They crashed on me
The setting sun
It waves goodbye
You were the one
That made me cry

Writing is my release. When something happens, that i dont particularly like, i write about it. When disappointment sets in and i have no one to talk too, i write about it.
I never really thought about it till now, but i hardly ever title my poetry. It is usually dated. This is because what i write is more of a journal than it is art.

I pretty much agree with what Clair posted.. i kno who this poem's about and i'm sorry for what happened.. this is some deep shit..
and yea, the last part of the poem does hit the hardest:

A sight to see
You weren’t around

...That part just sounds hella depressing.. like she completely let U down.. i kno how bad U want 2 see her Richie.. call her up.. i mean fuckin-a..
As for the beginning part..
"Rejections feared
That have come true"
..Not sure what all thaz about.. Rejections? wtf? just dont assume that thaz what it is.. U kno what they say.. "Assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups"..
I like the poem, but some of ur poems lately have been pretty pensive with melancholy.. more drama and sadness than U need, my friend.. i mean shit.. dont make me remind U of how *I* was a while ago when *U kno what* happened with *U kno who*.. its depressing, i'nit?
i really do like the poem tho... but i WOULD like 2 see sum different [perhaps a bit more lively] material coming from U... thingz could be worse... a *lot* worse...
